Community Life and Formation

  • Family Faith Formation – Catechesis for the whole family every Sunday from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM (September – May) in the parish hall.  For more information, call Rosario Funakoshi in the parish office.

  • High School Faith Formation- This takes place at the same time as the Family Faith Formation and focuses on Social Justice and Catholic Social Teaching


  • Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.) and Rite of Christian Initiation for Youth (R.C.I.Y.) – Preparation for anybody interested in becoming Catholic or anyone who would like to make their First Communion and/or Confirmation.  Classes meet Wednesday nights from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, September until Easter.


  • Youth Group – Meeting Sundays after the 11:00am mass till 2:30, middle schoolers and high schoolers get together for activites that are either social, service, or faith based. Activities themselves range from things like bowling, watching movies, exploring sites and events around town, participating in marches, and serving the parish and local community organizations.

  • Couples for Christ – A retreat ministry for married couples by married couples, helping them to ground their relationship in a healthy, vibrant relationship with God.  For more information, visit us at


  • Evangelization Teams – Teams of parishioners who walk the neighborhood around Our Lady of Guadalupe knocking on doors, checking in on our neighbors, whether they are parishioners or not, to build a stronger sense of community by getting to know our neighbors and understanding the gifts and struggles of those who live in our parish boundaries.
